Scott Kasperek

L. Scott Kasperek, of Jamestown, NY and longtime resident of Fairport, NY died unexpectedly on August 4th at the age of 61. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Jean and Leonard Kasperek of Jamestown, NY; & sister, Cheryl Goggan.

Scott is survived by his wife, Lisa; children, Bethany & Jacob; sister, Leigh Jones (Mike); sister-in-law, Wende Savitch; brother-in-law, Bennett Geller (Nancy); nieces and nephews, Eric, Carly, Kurt, Slade, Dylan; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Scott was born on October 18th, 1962, in Jamestown NY. He was a graduate from Jamestown High School and SUNY Brockport where he studied computer sciences and went on to become an IT professional for over 40 years. He was widely respected and held in high regard by all he worked for and alongside. Scott valued family and friendship above all else, he was the kind of man who would help anyone whether he knew them or not. He had an interest in photography and architecture and a love for anything to do with Space and Space exploration. He was a lover of animals and was devoted to his cat Graycie (his at home office companion). 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 10,2024 at 2pm Kim and Ken Jackson’s Home (10 Fiora Dr, East Rochester NY 14445).
