Serafin was born on March 21, 1963 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Serafin was a man of many ways. He enjoyed many things, like camping and fishing, and doing work in his community with local groups and organizations. He was known as the grill master of the family, the best breakfast cook, and a man of many stories.
Serafin took pride in being Puerto Rican, being raised in the Bronx, and would always rep his team, the Yankees. Serafin loved his children and grandchildren dearly who shared that love in return. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews and friends and adopted family who loved him and looked up to him in different ways. Serafin will be missed dearly by many.
Serafin is survived by his mother, Gloria, his wife, Maritza, his children Serafin Jr, Maria, Victor, Tatyana and Joel, his grandchildren Victor Jr, Eva, Nahla, Noella, Elena, Isaiah, Conley and Rosalia. Predeceased by sister, Darleen, father Junior Williams, and nephew Ramon. He leaves behind his siblings William, Carlton, Janet, Stewart, Dwayne, Patricia, Lorenzo and Albert, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends, Sunday January 12, 2025, 12 pm - 2pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.)
A funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 2pm. officiated by Deacon Larry Feasel, senior Deacon of the Diocese of Rochester. Interment is private.
