In loving memory of Sheila Donato Matsumoto, who passed away on Friday, February 17th, 2023 after a long illness.
Sheila was born on December 5, 1961 to Tim Donato and Jacqueline (Millitello) Thompson (James Thompson). Known as "Mama Sheila", she was the mother, sister and friend anyone would ever need.
Sheila is survived by her beloved husband, Michael, and her children, Amber and Michael Jr., her reason for living; her brothers Thomas and David Fuino; grandsons Jayden and Xander, and various nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, New York 14626 on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by full military honors and twenty-one gun salute at 12:30. A reception will follow. Information on venue will be forthcoming.
Donations in Sheila's name can be made to the Veterans Association.
