Sheri Eugenia Green was born in Rochester, NY, on November 5, 1979, to her parents Samuel and Audrey Green. She was baptized in 1980 at New Bethel CME Church.
Sheri was a vibrant and strong character. When she walked into a room, you knew it. Sheri had a strong leadership personality from a young age. She was a fierce force of nature! Bold, brash, and a "BOSS" – Sheri said what she meant and meant what she said! Sheri never missed a holiday home, and was described by many to be the life of the party. Sheri brought laughter and joy to those dear to her.
Sheri graduated from Greece Athena High School in 1998. She went on to further her education at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She continued on with her education, receiving a Masters of Education degree
from Strayer University in Washington D.C, 2006.
Sheri taught biology and earth science for the Prince George School District in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Her other interests included dance, cooking and gardening.
Sheri was a loving daughter, a faithful sister, fun-loving aunt, and loyal friend. She was a woman of great strength, love and dedication to her family and friends. She had a presence that could not be dimmed. She touched many lives in many ways throughout her lifetime, and she will be dearly missed.
