Shirley Leveson Bovay 12-8-26 - 9-9-23 of Greece, NY.
Shirley is predeceased by her husbands, Charles Leveson and George Bovay and her beloved son, Chuck, who passed away in October 2010.
A long-time resident of Greece, NY, she was a member of the former Concord Lutheran Church and Messiah Lutheran Church. She was employed at McCurdy's for several years and was a volunteer in the Park Ridge/Unity Hospital gift shop for over 25 years.
Shirley was an avid golfer, bowler, loved her card groups, a fan of the Buffalo Bills and devoted to her numerous kitties during her lifetime.
After Chuck's passing in 2010, her care was provided by Laurie Brown, Chuck's companion of over 30 years. Through all the transitions in Shirley's life, Laurie took the lead--with encouragement, humor, occasional frustration yet with commitment to Shirley's safety, comfort and health.
Heartfelt thanks for the comfort and care provided by the angels at Rochester Regional Hildebrandt Hospice where Shirley spent her last days in a peaceful, pain-free and loving environment.
