April 28, 1935 — August 4, 2021
Peacefully entered into rest with her beloved husband Norm by her side on August 4, 2021 at age 86 ending a courageous 6 year battle with dementia.
Survived by her husband Norbert of 65 years in marriage. Daughters, Michelle (Robert) Wolfe of MD, Melinda (Jeffrey) Petter of VT. Son, Darryl (Carrie) Minch.
Grandchildren, Carolynne (Paul Hawkins) Fitzpatrick, Jameson (Sarah) Fitzpatrick of WV, Danielle (Harlan) Vitoff, Nathan (Kristina Runde) Petter of CO, Jennifer Brooks (Kevin) , Eric Minch (Samantha) of NC. 4 Great-grandchildren.
Sister in law, Judy Dolecki and her family in West Seneca, NY and surrounding areas.
Shirley was a graduate of Alfred State College 1954, Nazareth College 1974 and 1978. Shirley taught business at Hilton Central School District for 19 years.
No prior calling hours. On Saturday morning 10 am August 28, 2021, friends are invited to Shirley's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Road Rochester, NY 14612-1498. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
