Rochester: Passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at age 45. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary; father, Sidney, Sr.; children, Bishop, Ayanna, Shamir, Saveria and her children Avonneyay, Golden, Yavianna, Jason, Zamier, Xavier; Shantell and her children, Lyric, D'Asia, Reginald and Patience; sisters, Cynthia and Shantell; brother, Alvin and many nieces and nephews. Sidney was a loving, kind and passionate father, friend and husband who loved his family. Some of his passions included fishing, tinkering in his garage or watching football. He will be truly missed by all.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 23rd from 3-7 P.M. at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 24th 10 AM at the All Saints Mausoleum of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, where interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mary Gomez-Jones for the future education of their son Bishop Jones.
