Henrietta: "Whoever invented goodbye never realized love". Went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at age 77. She is predeceased by her mother, Sofie and son, Alexander John. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Alexander; daughters, Lisa (Todd) Thomas and Rosalee (Claude) Fillion; daughter-in-law, Pamela Finn; grandchildren, Lydia, Johan, Philip, Anna, Naomi, Gabriela, Grace, Tabitha, Samuel, Peter, Mary, Julia, Paul, Luke, Noah, Ruth, William and Daniel; along with many nieces and nephews abroad. Sophie was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years and a member of the Church Council at Henrietta Assembly of God.
Her quiet strength and leadership, which she always attributed to God inspired her children and grandchildren and all of those she came in contact with.
There will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 26th at 6:30 PM at Bethel Christian Fellowship (Historic Sanctuary), 321 East Avenue. Interment will be held privately at White Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Henrietta Assembly of God, 1390 Pinnacle Road, Henrietta, NY 14467.
