Predeceased by his parents, and sister, Olga Gunkel. he is survived by his daughter, Debra S.; son, Stefan J.; brother, George (Pat) Fleischer; sister, Wilhelmina (Gunter) Kronenberger; brother-in-law, Heinz Gunkel; 3 grandsons, Julian Minguez, Max Fleischer and Carson G. Bellok; devoted long-time companion, Rebecca Gardner; many nieces & nephews.
Family and friends may call Monday, September 22nd, 6:30 to 7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where his Funeral Service will follow at 7 PM. Private interment. Donations may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society for research in Stefan's memory.
