Waldo, Stephen Lee
Rochester: Friday, October 2, 2009, at age 65. Predeceased by his parents, William & Melissa (Ashline) Waldo. He is survived by his children, Brett A., Jarod W., Philip E. and Karyl Lea; granddaughter, Alexandra; sister, Jody Waldo of Stowe, Vermont.
Steve is a native of Vermont. He started his musical career at age 14 in a country band in upstate Vermont. Lured away by The Beatles in the 60's, he moved to Connecticut in 1968 where he played Top 40 Rock & Roll up and down the East Coast, and as far West as Missouri.
Steve moved to New York and took a break from music from 1973 until 1978, when he went back to his roots in country with local bands such as: The New Country Squires, Thoroughbred, Roadhouse, Karen and The Bounty Hunters, Closing Time, and finally to DoubleCross, where he has been for the last 9 years.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, October 7th, 5-9 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Service and Interment.
