Sue Ann Gaffney, educator, life master bridge player, giraffe lover, volunteer, proponent of women's rights, S.U. fan, sister, aunt, and friend extraordinaire, passed away on October 28th, 2017 in Rochester, NY.
Predeceased by her parents, Madeleine and John Gaffney; brother, Hugh Gaffney and niece, Lisa Gaffney. She is survived by siblings Mary Ellen (Ron) Mathews, Michael (Nancy) Gaffney and James (Barbara) Gaffney; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Gaffney, Jeffrey (Dierdre) Gaffney, Andrew (Carrie) Mathews, Mark (Megan) Mathews, Su (Brooks) Hale, Maura (Michael) Mathews-Hartman, John (Tara) Gaffney, Melinda (Doug) Cronk, Edwin (Adriana) Gaffney, Tim Gaffney, Kevin (Diana) Gaffney; along with many beloved grand-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Memorial Art Gallery, M&T Ballroom
