Chili: Wednesday, February 8, 2017 passed away suddenly. Predeceased by her parents, Robert & Catherine Barnes; brother, Michael Barnes.
Survived by loving husband, James; her siblings, Bob (Karen), Patty (George), Kathy, Tommy, Ann Marie (Kevin) Phelan; mother-in-law, Sarah Phiblin; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie (Tim Cook), Mary Lou (David Ford); many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and many loving friends. Susan worked and volunteered at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Her family will receive friends 4-8 Monday, February 13th at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Pius Tenth Church, 3010 Chili Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation.
