WEST IRONDEQUOIT- Susan Ellen "Susu" Hargather, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.

Susan was born in Ontario, Canada on July 18, 1948 to the late John and Antoinette McEachen. On November 25, 1967 Susan married the love of her life, Doug Hargather. They were married for over 50 years and together they raised two children. She was a loyal employee to Highland Hospital for many years. Her passion in life was her family, especially her granddaughters.

She is predeceased by her sister, Carol McEachen.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Doug, her children, Mary Kay Hargather, and Brian (Melanie) Hargather, her granddaughters, Makala, and Aubrey, her siblings, John (Peggy) McEachen, Robin (Sam) Dinch, and Laura Leaton, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Susan's name to her granddaughters college fund.
