She passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at the age of 74
Predeceased by her parents, George & Catherine King; sisters, Patricia King, Janet Nicodemus; Brothers, Robert King, George H King
Survived by her husband 40 years, Raphael Mendez. Brother, Richard (Janice) King; Sisters, Barbara (John) Gill, Sally King; Children, Michelle (Edwin) King-Franqui, Lucas (Tammy) King Sr., William (Brenda) Forbes Jr.
Grandchildren, Joseph (Irina), Alicia, Samantha, Alina, Kiralyn, Lucas Jr., Ashley, Joshua, Nicole, Sabrina, Isabella. 9 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 12 noon- 2 pm Saturday June 24, 2023 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) A memorial service will follow visitation at 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment is private.
