Susann M. Brauch took Jesus' hand to go home on January 23, 2025, in Greece, New York, at the age of 74. Born on April 1, 1950, Sue radiated love, laughter, and joy. She dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her family, and was an example of generosity and devotion.
A faithful follower of Jesus, Sue found joy and solace in praise and worship music. She sought the Lord, growing in her faith through daily conversations with her "sister of Sunday," Diane. She knew the presence of the Holy Spirit was and is with her always.
Sue's life centered around her family. She loved listening to her beloved husband, Achim, sing and play piano. She found creative ways of bringing fun and joy into the lives of her family. Countless special memories were made around the dinner table, playing games, doing puzzles, and while traveling or vacationing together. Her light-hearted disposition, joyful laugh, encouraging words, and optimism left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Sue enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, quilting and crocheting, and watching football (Go Bills!). She delighted in walking the pier, taking pictures of flowers, drinking coffee with family, gardening with her husband, and enjoying the beauty of nature in her own backyard.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Wilmer and Eleanor Quiring, and her brothers, Leonard, Richard, and Timothy Quiring. Sue is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 55 years, Joachim Brauch; her four children, Matthew (Jessica) Brauch, Karalyn (Peter) Fagan, Tricia (Andrew) Forsythe, and Tamara (Leo) Brauch; grandchildren, Chelsea, Lana, Brianna, Kaila, Ryon, Sabrina, Aurianna, and Allyria; sweet sister, Diane (Robert) Freye; uncle, Ed Quiring; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
