Rochester: Peacefully on February 11th 2017 at age 91. Predeceased by beloved husband, Martin D. Kelly; daughter, Ellen Patricia Kelly; mother & father, Nerine & Elwood Shepard; sisters, Marjorie & Joan Skelly. Survived by her loving children, John (Stephanie), Thomas (Amy), Michael (Belinda), Patrick, Joanne (Michael) Conlon & Sharon; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
Sue and Marty were married in Key West, Florida at the end of WWII. Marty was a noted custom home builder and developer in the Rochester area, also a past President of the Rochester Home Builders Association. They were season ticket holders and faithful Buffalo Bills fans for over 35 years. Summer weekends were aboard their cherished cruiser, the "O'Susanna".
Sue was very proud of her American heritage, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sue was most happy at family celebrations, and she loved a party; but most important to her was that she wanted all of her family to be together. She was an elegant lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2617 East Ave, Rochester on Saturday, April 29th at 11:00am with an Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery immediately following.
