Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2020 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years Stanley Bednarczyk. She is survived by her loving children, Richard Bednarczyk, Irene (Ernie) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Michelle Giordano, Mark (Heather) Bednarczyk; great-grandchildren, Tèa, Luke and Anthony along with many nieces and nephews in Europe.
Tea Bednarczyk was born in a small town just south of Rome Italy. She married Stanley Bednarczyk during the war and moved to a small town in Southern Poland where she didn't speak the language or know a single person. Tea and Stanley live in a small 2 room apartment and had 2 children Richard and Irene. Tea and her family escaped Poland and moved to Rochester New York with a brief stay back in Italy.
Again in a country where she didn't know anyone and didn't speak the language she more than survived she thrived. She learned the language, made lifelong friends and found work where she could as a seamstress and cleaning houses. Tea did whatever she had to for the better of her family.
In the twilight years her and Stanley built a nice little ranch house in Churchville. They had 10 acres of land with a huge garden, rabbits and geese. I'm thinking the animals and garden were more Stanley's idea but again Tea adjusted prevailed and thrived.
She loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends. Enjoyed her expresso, reading and music by Bocelli. They say home is where the family is and Tea took hers all over the world. She was an extremely strong women picking her family up and moving to make a better life. Each country she lived in was better for it.
Thank you Tea for all that you were are and will be in our lives. What a woman!
