Theresa (Terry) Radel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Theresa Radel, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Terry was a devoted wife and grandmother who was deeply loved by her family and friends.

Terry was born on February 9, 1929, to her parents John and Nora Scanlon. She was the oldest of four children. Her siblings were John (Bernard), Margaret, and Timothy.

Predeceased by her husband, William Radel. She is survived by her children, Kayley Rose, William (Patricia) and Shawn (Mary Jane); five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 16th, from 3-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 17th, 10am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2400 W Ridge Rd. Inurnment will be held at the convivence of the family at Riverside Cemetery.
