Tommy was born in Myrtle Beach, SC in July 1977 and died in Rochester, NY, June 2022. He attended St. Anthony School and Carroll High School in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Mount Markham High School in West Winfield, NY in 1996. Tommy then went on to Hartwick College Culinary School in New York.
Tommy loved traveling and took great pride in visiting all lower 48 states. He often said, "All who wander are not lost." He loved cooking, fishing and being around people and family.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Sue (Eric) Kleinhans; father, Tom (Gayle) Copfer; sisters, Marie (Mark) Austria and Caitlyn Copfer, and brother, Ryan Copfer; nephew Ben; nieces Evalynn and Madelynn; grandmothers, Grace Cochran and Toni Kleinhans.
Tommy loved living life as a free spirit and will live in our hearts forever. Family burial at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio and a celebration of life to be announced.
