Greece - Thomas M. Gmelin, 78, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family.
Tom was born in Rochester, NY on August 1, 1943 to the late William and Marie Gmelin. He will be remembered for his love of gardening. He was a member of the Local 86 IBEW for over 40 years.
He is predeceased by his wife, Marilyn, his son, David, and his siblings, June, Jack, and Bill.
He is survived by his children, Cathy (Don) Pool, and Tom (Trudy) Gmelin, his grandchildren, Jason (Linnzi) Pool, Stephen Pool, and Chris Pool, his 7 great-grandchildren, his siblings, Bob (Donna) Gmelin, and Ann Marie (Kevin) Harkins, his sister-in-law, Anne Gmelin, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Ron and Sharon Schmeer.
Donations may be made in Tom's name to the Aurora House, 2495 S Union St, Spencerport, NY 14559.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
