Greece: Sunday, May 3rd, 2009 at age 62. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Henrietta; and brother, Carl Gurak. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty (Cancilla); children, Mike Gurak, Debbie (David) Cirre, Kathy (Chris) Schofield, Abigail (James) Thomas and Virginia (Jordan) Stover; grandchildren, Briana (Jake Jiracek), Elizabeth, Jeff, Jon, Sam, Andy, T.J., Abby, Cori, Zachary, Jacob and Isabell; sister-in-law, Eileen Gurak; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Tom was a cantor at St. Charles Borromeo Church and a member of the SCC Group for many years.
Family and friends may call on Thursday May 7th from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, c/o the Music Ministry Program, 3003 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616.
