Thomas Michael Monagan Sr.

Thomas M. Monagan, Sr. returned home to his Heavenly Father on December 11, 2021.
He was a former employee of Eastman Kodak, St. Mary's Hospital, and the Redman's Club.
The U.S. Army Veteran and long-time volunteer for the Gates Fire Department was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gertrude Monagan, his daughter Christine Monagan, nephew Joseph John Testa, and in-laws Thomas and Teresa Johnson.
He is survived in life by his loving wife of 49 years, Joanne (Johnson), his children, Thomas, Jennifer, and Paul, his sister, Mary Anne and husband Alex Testa, his cousin, Kathleen and husband Harold Russell, his cousin, Lawrence Kenney, his niece, Mary Elizabeth and husband Chip Grabski, his sisters-in-law, Sheila Johnson-Day and Donna Johnson, his brother-in-law, Tom Johnson, and his grandchildren, Brianna & David Leonard, and Savannah & Vanessa Monagan, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 4-7pm.
A catholic burial Mass will begin at 9:30am on Saturday, December 18th at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road in Gates, with a graveside burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Theodore's Church or a charity of your choice.
