Thomas M. Schenk

Thomas "Tom" Martin Schenk passed unexpectedly on March 17th, 2025, at his home at only 58 years old. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.

Tom was born on October 30th, 1966, in Rochester, NY. Tom is survived by his wife, Robin Schenk; his children, Keerstin, Jonathan, Jennifer and son-in-law Rafael; stepchildren, Justin (vanessa), Kyle, Travis and Joshua; grandchildren, Jared, Ayden, carsyn, Aaliyah, Adalynn, Austyn and Greysyn; step-father, Bernard Vahue. He will forever be remembered by his siblings, Michelle Northrup and Scott (Maree) Vahue; his nephews, Eric, Damion, Allen, Chris, Cody and niece, Steffany.

Tom was predeceased by his mother, Carol Vahue and father, Delano Schenk; along with many other family members that will be greatly missed.

Tom had a strong, loving, caring and fun spirit. He loved deeply and unconditionally. He had the best laugh and smile, with eyes that could tell you exactly how he was feeling at any moment. Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was known to be the life of the party, who always made sure everyone else was having a good time. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, and being out on the lake or ocean.

Tom touched the lives and hearts of anyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. He was always willing to help anyway he could. He had a heart made of gold and a tough guy attitude but was not afraid to show his emotions. He loved hard and fought harder. He was a hardworking man of strong character and had an exceptional sense of humor- anyone who knew Tom knows this.

"Tom", "Tommy", "Dad", "Pops", "Papa", you will forever live on in our memories and be missed very much by your loving family and many friends. We take comfort knowing that you are reunited with your mom in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-9pm on Saturday, March 22 at BTB Wood fired Pizza Bar & Grill, 134 Greece Ridge Center Dr, Rochester, NY 14626.
