Tina Caster

July 10, 1961 — January 20, 2025

Tina R. Caster, cherished member of her family and community, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 10, 1961, Tina recently retired after dedicating 25 years of her career to serving the state of New York. Her commitment and love for her work were evident throughout her long tenure.

Tina was a loving person whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She is remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the immense affection she held for those around her. She took pride in being an attentive mother and grandmother, creating priceless memories with her loved ones.

Her hobbies reflected her caring nature; she loved camping with her children and grandchildren, exploring the great outdoors while bonding with her family. In her quieter moments, she found joy in various crafts, including quilting and sewing, activities she often shared with her sisters and mother. Alongside these artistic pursuits, Tina had an affinity for crocheting and showcased her creativity through her many projects. One delightful quirk that all who knew her appreciated was her undying love for ice cream, a treat that could brighten any day. Tina also had a deep passion for travel, with the Grand Canyon holding a particularly special place in her heart.

Tina leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, David; her children, Daniel (Lauren) Shultz and Sara (Ken) Swol; and her precious grandchildren, Nicolas Jr., Keira, Izabelle, Benjamin, Ryder, Luella, and Merrick. She is also survived by her father, James Schwebke; her siblings, Debbie (Wayne) Boyer, Eric (Annie) Schwebke, and Kathy Riley; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

Tina is preceded in death by her mother, Lura Schwebke; her son, Nicolas Shultz Sr.; and her granddaughter, Daniella Swol. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, love for her family, and the indelible mark she has left on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Tina's family will hold funeral services at a later date.
