Saturday, September 2, 2006 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Owen; loving companion, Samuel Valenza; sisters, Irma King, Lettie MacIntyre, Loretta Nichols and brother, Norman Nichols. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Peggy) Owen and Penelope "Penny" Soos; brothers, Stewart (Agnes) Nichols and Gordon (Marian) Nichols; grandchildren, Karen (Joseph) Durkee, Kelly (Eric) Frank, Kara Soos, Jeffrey Owen, Carrie (Cliff) Ashley, Sharon (Keith) Robistow, Christopher Owen, Johanna (Chris) Burns; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family & friends may call Tuesday 4-8 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. The Funeral Service will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6th at 10 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Penfield, 1862 Penfield Rd. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkinson Study Group, 1351 Mt. Hope Ave., Suite 223, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
