Virginia M. Hewitt

Virginia 'Ginny' Hewitt of North Rose NY, passed away peacefully at home, on September 10, 2016 at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, her son Herbert "Little Herbie", her parents Cecilia & Lloyd, siblings Kenneth and Ruth.
She retired from Stromberg Carlson after 25 years. She became an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Webster. She loved serving veterans, volunteering on bingo nights and helping with anything that was needed. She also volunteered at the American Legion Post in Webster. She enjoyed her westerns and Lawrence Welk. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her daughter and grandchildren were who she lived for.
Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Ruth "Babe" Sullivan and son-in-law Thomas Sullivan of North Rose NY. They were by her side during her peaceful final moments.

Her Grandsons- the Ehrne boys; Richard (Kathryn) of Newark NY, Kenneth (Lynn) of Greece NY, Dale (Amy) of Brockport NY, Ricky of North Rose NY, Todd (Joyce) of Sodus NY.

Great Grandchildren; Stephanie (Josiah), Richard (Sara), Nicole (Kyle), Michael, Spencer, Zachary, MacKayla, Corey, Elizabeth, Cassidy, Nathan, Annabelle along with several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Friday September 16, 2016 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14612. Her service will follow at 7pm.

Private interment at a later date.
