Greece: Loving mother and grandmother. Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family Monday, December 8, 2008 at age 76. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Bonnie), Thomas (Liz), Richard (Grace), Steven, Nick (Nancy) Iovine; grandchildren, Erik, Todd, Nicholas, Michael, Paige and Brittany; great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Chelenza; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Jean Walsh. Vita's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Nancy for her support, love and devotion to Vita.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 4-8 PM Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Funeral Service will be held 10 AM, Saturday. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNS Foundation.
