Vito Dalykas
Irondequoit: Passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at age 85; son of the late George and Amelia Dalykas of Scranton, PA; also predeceased by brothers, Frank, George (Katie), Anthony, Algert (Lois) and Philip; sisters, Helen, Anna and Marie. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian; daughter, Rosanne (Todd Ross) Dalykas; sons, Robert (Kathy), David (JoAnn), Kevin (Denise Mitchell), William (Denys Bryant) and Doug (Lori Lombardo) Dalykas; grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert II, Taylor, Morgan, Mitchel, Brian, Christina and Alexa who was born January 5, 2011 at 11:59 PM; great-grandchildren, Sylvia and Kristina; sisters, Beatrice and Adele (Charles) Demetrakos; brother, Edward (Rose) Dalykas; sisters-in-law, Dolores, Josephine and Patricia; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Vito was a retiree of Eastman Kodak a volunteer Fireman of the Point Pleasant Fire Dept. with 50 years of Service and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to fly.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 9th from 1-3 and 5-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where his Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Point Pleasant Firemen's Association or to a charity of your choice.
