Vivian Denise Harrison, affectionately known as Vivian was born January 1, 1961 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Willie James Harrison and late Ruby Dean (Maye) Harrison Briggs.
During her youth, Vivian enjoyed spending time with her mother and traveling with family down south to her grandparents farm and home known as (the old home place). She attended John Marshall High School, Rochester, NY. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, arts and crafts, the water making money and time with her friends.
Vivian had two children Juggy and J.R.
In the late 1970's she got into nursing, earning a certificate, she began work as a private duty Nurse with clients throughout monroe county. She later changed careers and became a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker, running a successful business for 18 years. Vivian was a very deeply caring woman, with a remarkable ability to learn from and help others. A woman with a good heart and pure intentions, and naturally a giver, she loved her family friends, and most of all her children.
Predeceased by her parents Willi James & Ruby Dean (Maye) Harrison; Son J.R. Sullivan; & Sister Barbara Harrison & brother Willie(Wayne) Harrison; & beloved dog Jasper.
Survived by her son, James Harrison Sr. , soul mate and confidante, Vernon Elliott; grandson, James Dramell Dean Harrison; siblings Walter Harrison, Violet Harrison, Patricia Harrison, several neices, nephews, cousins, friends -extended family Terrie Kennedy and Darlene Kennedy and goddaughter Denita Kennedy.
Visiting will be Friday March 29, 11am-12pm at Abundant Life Faith Ministry 83 Whitney Street Memorial service to take place immediately after.
