Predeceased by his brothers; James, Luther, William and Joseph Washby. Sisters; Harriett Jones, Georgiana Morton Johnson, Louise Washby, Caroline Slaughter.
Survived by his loving wife of 41 years; Venda Washby. Daughter; Louise (Lou) Washby. Sons; Wade Dean Washby, Thaddeus Bell. Steve (Kendall) Bell. 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
Wade was a retiree of Local Union # 435. A member of New Bethel CME Church on 270 Scio St. Wade was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved working in the yard and his garden.
Friends may call Friday March 12, 2021 from 10-11 am at New Bethel CME Church, 270 Scio St, Rochester, NY 14605. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11 am in the church sanctuary. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
Per NYS Guidlines, friends must wear masks, social distance in order to attend. There is a maximum church capacity for COVID19 in force.
