Irondequoit: Peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2008, at age 54 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her father Monroe and sister, Gertrude Howard. Survived by her mother, Ethel Lovett; husband, Norman Mattle; children, Cosette (Marcus), James (Tawana), Marshall (Taiesha), Maurice (Desiree), Michael, Lajason (Jamilah); 18 grandchildren; sisters, Diane Jackson, Willie Mae Maddox, Jaya Morales, Sentretta Hagins Estelle Brumfield and Pearl and Dorothy Davis; brothers, Willie (Shirley) and Preston Thomas; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21st from 9-12 Noon at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where Services will immediately follow at Noon. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cosette to offset Funeral expenses.
