Rochester/Chili: Passed unexpectedly October 15, 2008 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ethel; son, Charles W. (Kathe) Cleveland of Bergen; step-children, Suzanne Reynolds of Seneca Falls, Richard (Gloria) Castner of Livonia, Darlene (Frederick Jr.) Holland of Piffard, Henry Castner of Livonia, Sherry (Thomas) Blaesi of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, June C. Riley of Greece; several nieces and nephews. Ward was a World War II Army Veteran who served for 17 years.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 2-6 P.M. Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held 11 A.M. Monday. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
