Rochester - Passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 81.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert & Velma Tate; 11 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Pia) James, Dorsey James (Kathy Johnson) , & Pamela Emery (Devon Omeally); grandchildren, Michael James II, James Johnson, Nakita Lester, & Chloe Stone; great-grandchildren, James Johnson Jr., Nionah, Nazieya, & Nazieyr Burroughs; sisters, Alma Tate Franklin & Lucy Tate Baker; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am - 11:00 am followed by her Home Going at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 131 Dr. Samuel McCree Way. Interment at Falls Cemetery (Ridge Road Cemetery), corner of Ridge Rd. & Latona Rd.
