Wendy Ann White- Ryan M.D.

Passed peacefully Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at age 45 with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her parents, James & Cynthia White. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Scott Ryan; children, Connor and Sarah; mother-in-law, Sheila Favreau; sister, Amy White and her children, Ilana and Jack; brothers and sisters-in-law and many friends. Wendy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She remained positive and put others needs before her own. She exuded strength and positive energy to everyone. Wendy had an amazing spirit and everyone who met her noticed it and gained strength from it. Wendy was incredibly creative. She loved creating original gifts and making elaborate costumes for her children. Wendy dabbled in home repair and construction and loved all animals including her many pets. Wendy was a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was a Board Certified Pediatrician. She grew up in the Finger Lakes Region, was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and New York Medical College. She did her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester and practiced as a Pediatrician at West Main pediatrics.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 4th from 11 AM - 1 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling hours at 1 PM. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Wendy's name may be directed to Gilda's Club of Rochester, 225 Alexander St., Rochester, NY 14607.
