Passed away Tuesday, November 15th at age 61.
She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Lucy "Bianchi" Palmer.
Wendy is survived by her children, son Patrick "P.J." (Alonna) Whitney daughters, April (Alex) Alicea, and Julie; grandchildren, Angelena "Lena", Bianca, Alejandro "A.J." and Willa; sisters Tracy (Dave) Pasker, Christine Kruger and Holly Palmer; many nieces and nephews.
Wendy was one that captivated everybody's heart with her kindness and love towards all.
She was born and raised in the small town of Churchville, New York, where she always felt like it was home.
From a young age, Wendy's work ethic landed her an impressionable job at Bausch & Lomb, where she enjoyed being employed for many years.
She embraced the essence of life with family road trips, fun, and music. Her kindness was infectious. Wendy's zeal and energy created an exorbitant amount of laughter for the family, which led to the making of beautiful memories.
Wendy was a thinker, innovator, enthusiast, and especially an encourager. There would never be a time when she didn't voice the words, "I love you" and you truly would always feel loved around her. She was extremely proud of her children and never wasted a moment to emphasize her feelings towards them.
Wendy, whose name means "friend," was one to many and will be sorely missed by all.
Family will receive family and friends Saturday, Nov. 26th from 10am to 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where her service will be held at 11am.
