Wilhelmina 'Coot' Wilson was born on December 28, 1956 in Rochester, NY to Ruther Bell Gaines and William Wilson. She graduated from Franklin High school in 1974 and became a homemaker in Rochester.
Coot is predeceased by her husband Leroy Rivers, mother Ruther Bell Gaines, step father Grady Gaines, father William Wilson, brother John Buie, and great-granddaughter Paige Holloway. Coot leaves to cherish her memories 6 children, Diane Holloway (Chris), Theresa Wilson, Lonnie Wilson (Jessica), Robert Wilson, Victoria Wilson, Kenneth Williams, 16 grandkids, 2 sisters Cora Buie (Jose), Patricia Harris (Jimmy), a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews.
Besides taking care of her children, her favorite things in this world was sipping Pepsi, playing Zap, Pitty-Pat, Tunk, yelling and playing BINGO! Our social butterfly was involved in numerous women groups, such as the Diva's at Catholic Charities, Queens and Sisters and Trillium Tea Time. For those who had the pleasure of knowing her, she will forever be remembered as "A Sweet-Lady'.
Special thanks to the Jones family, Danita (nurse at Trillium Health), Michelle of Queens and Sisters and special family friend Otha Brinson.
Coot has gone home now, where she has been received with open arms by all her predeceased loved ones.
