February 20, 1944 — January 17, 2020
GATES - Passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, January 17th at age 75. Predeceased by his wife, Janet. Survived by his sons, Scott, Christopher (Denise); daughter, Kimberly; grandchildren, Heather, Kayla, Ava, Alexa, Karlee, Adam; great-grandson, Raymond & Alyssa.; brothers, Rick (Kathy), Mel, Curt (Margaret); sister, Joni Ball; many nieces & nephews. Bill was an active member at the Westside YMCA, loved coin collecting, coffee & watching westerns. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unity Hospital especially the 2300 Unit who provided great care to Bill.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, January 24th from 5:30-6:30 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 6:30 PM.
