ROCHESTER- William D. Bates, 71, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Bill was born in Rochester, NY on September 30, 1950 to the late Gordon and Pauline Bates. He was a Union Electrician for IBEW for many years and will be remembered as a kind and gentle man.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Dorris White, who was by his side when he passed peacefully. He is survived by his son, Brian Cassin, and step children Daniel MacDonald, Amy (Troy) Smith, Sue (Steve) Cole, and Steve (Nancy) Mason, his sister, Evelyn Powell, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
