William W. Downs Jr.

Rochester:
At the age of 55 William passed away on April 26th, 2022. Predeceased by his parents, William Downs Sr., and Patricia Smith. He is survived by his Sons, Caden Downs and Ryan (Isabel) Downs; mother of Caden, Marjorie Markel; grandchildren, Ellie and Isaac Downs; siblings, Chipper Smith, John Couch, Charles Couch, Berneda Rivard and Wilma (Raymond Stone) Downs; nieces, Casandra Couch, Brandi (Anthony Ussia) Jenkins, Jenna (Jacob) Coluzzi; nephews, Christopher Smith, Michael Couch and Jeremy Couch along with many loving family friends.

Billy was a very selfless person. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone. He had a huge heart and took on a caregiver role. At a young age, he took an interest in helping the disabled, elderly people, and caring for children. Billy was very Adventurous and enjoyed spending time in nature and had a love for animals. He was also very skilled in drawing, painting and roofing. He would learn any task that was at hand and would perfect it so he could further his knowledge of any trade. He had a great sense of humor and would make everyone around him laugh. Most of all, Billy loved his family dearly and would do anything for them.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 3rd, 2022 from 4PM - 6:30PM, service immediately following at 6:30PM, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.

A grave side service will be held on Wednesday May 4th, 2022 at 1PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Meeting at the Lake Ave gate.
