William J. Nicora

Passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 84. 

Predeceased by his parents, William & Lena Nicora.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret Nicora; children, Nancy (Ken) Goodman, Scott (Annmarie) Nicora, Tammy (Tony) Brooks & Mark (Heather) Nicora; grandchildren, Louis (Jerry Maeda) DeAngelis, Jake (Paige) Goodman, Devin (Emily) Goodman, Josh Musick, Ryan Brooks, DJ Brooks & Liam Brooks; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Izzy, Ginny & Della; sisters, Judy Hogan & Carol (Louis) Detora; many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Billy, as he was known by most, was a great father, a loving husband and a friend to all.

He was never an emotional guy, but you always knew what he was thinking by the smirk on his face. Though he was never the loudest in the room, he had the wittiest remarks. He always found time for adventure with his four kids doing things like skating, skiing, sledding, swimming and biking. All the while, he dedicated himself to caring for his beloved family and community. 

His determination, hard work, and resolute philosophy on saving set a strong example for his children and his grandchildren.

He loved to travel with his wife Peggy and their many friends that they made over the years. He will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for the immediate family.
