Willy was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, on May 18, 1957 to Jorge Blandin Echevarria and Carmen Delia Rosado.
Willy loved being outdoors, enjoying the weather, listening to music, watching scary movies, History Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic, and the news. He had a major love for animals, especially dogs.
He is predeceased by his father, Jorge Blandin Echevarria, and his brother, William Jorge Blandin.
He is survived by mother, Carmen Rosado, his children, Jessica (David) Williams, William (Victoria) Quiles II, Michael (April) Wetzlau, and Jaime (Ida Erzagoni) Wetzlau, his siblings, Domingo Quiles, and Lou Carrero, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609,
on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12:00pm-3:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
