Predeceased by his wife April Strong, sister Joyce McGee, and parents Albert & Dorothy Strong.
William is survived by his sons, Donald, and David (Annette) Strong. grandson, Nicholas Strong; Sisters, Carol Battle, Cathy Taft, and Ginny Harris, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Bill was a US Army veteran. He retired from Eastman Kodak after 25 years of service. Bill was also a long time volunteer for the Seabreeze Volunteer Fire Dept. Bill also worked at Seabreeze Park in the 1950's and helped build several of the attractions, including the Over the Falls and the Train.
Calling hours Friday, July 22nd, 6pm to 8pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
Military Honors will be held at his graveside at 11 am Saturday, July 23rd at Irondequoit Cemetery, 3671 Culver Rd, Irondequoit, NY 14622.
