William Loren Tomkiewicz Sr.

Died on April 9, 2017 at 95 years old.
Predeceased by his wife Virginia Tomkiewicz of 68 years. Also predeceased by his sister Alice Billington Bellucci. Survived by son William L Tomkiewicz Jr (Karen), daughter Kathleen Cooper (David). Also survived by grandchildren Lisa Goodlein, Lauren Tomkiewicz, and Abby Tomkiewicz.

William was born and raised in the small North country town of Moira NY.
He always retained a special place and feeling for the small town upbringing and the close knit family bonds that developed there.
He left to pursue a career as a machinist at Eastman Kodak Co in Rochester, NY.
After his Army service at the end of WW II he met and married Virginia Eddy on Nov 31 1946. He and Ginny lived at the same address in Greece for over 59 years where they raised their family.
He loved golf, traveling, and taking pictures along the way.
An avid coin collector he was the secretary for the Kodak numismatic group for a while.
