Willie Elijah Cooper, born October 25, 1948 in Kingstree, South Carolina, to Willie Cooper and Virginia Scott-Cooper.
Willie, affectionately known to family as "Bunkie" and friends as "Program", attended St. Mark Elementary and St Mark High School. Willie worked a number of jobs in his earlier years of life. He was a Factory Worker in Georgia, a Cement Finisher in Orlando, Florida and South Carolina.
Willie relocated to Rochester, NY in 1987, where he was employed at Rochester Country Club, Al Sigal Center and Sterile Circle @ Strong Memorial Hospital.
Willie was a very fun loving person. He enjoyed hanging out with friend, dancing and shooting pool. Willie loved life!
Willie was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Virginia, Step-Mother Annie Mae. Three brothers: Theodore McClary, Willie Joe and Ronnie Cooper. Memories will be forever cherished by his sisters: Mazina (Rafe) Ellison, Delores, Mattie and Sandra of Rochester, NY and Shirley Gibson of Kingstree, SC. Sister -in-Law Virgree Cooper. Special Friend, Gloria Seymour of Rochester, NY. Several Aunts, one Uncle, many Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
