Rochester: December 18, 2009, at age 65. She is predeceased by her parents, Ramon and Maria (Rivera) Reyes; son, Jose M. Ortiz Jr.; grandson, Angel M. Burgos Ortiz; and sister, Aida L. Alicea. Survived by her daughter, Linda Y. Ortiz, father of her children, Jose M. Ortiz, Sr.; 3 brothers, Luis Alvarado, Ramon (Margarita) and Reinaldo (Miriam) Reyes; 4 sisters, Luz Ortiz, Rosa Rivera, Nydia and Angelina Reyes; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Monday, December 21, from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where her Funeral Ceremony will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the family in her memory.
