GATES - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 3rd 2021 at age 98. Predeceased by her nephew, Bret Johnston; siblings, Eldred, Linden, Dorraine. Survived by her nieces & nephews which were her children, Karen Johnston, Craig (Cindy) Johnston, Lori DiNorma, Wendy (Andrew) Rizzo, Laurie Johnston; along with many additional nieces, nephews & great nieces & great nephews.
Zita was a proud US Marine Corp. Veteran who served her country during WWII. She retired from Eastman Kodak after 42 years of dedicated service. Zita was very active within her church at Elmgrove United Methodist Church.
Family & friends may visit from 9:30-11 AM on Saturday, May 15th with a brief service to follow at 11 AM at Elmgrove UMC, 1500 Spencerport Road, Rochester, NY 14624.
